Chantele DiBrava

Chantele DiBrava’s music has a common theme, though there’s nothing common about her drive and talent. She writes songs about justice, redemption and the complexities of life’s failures and blessings. She’s a messenger of the common man and conveys his struggle for love, social acceptance and survival. The authority of her voice interprets an infinite spectrum of emotion; from the elation of success, to the pain of loss, or the darkness of an uncertain future, she croons these sentiments with soul and authenticity.

Chantele’s story is the American story; a New Jersey Wedding Singer, who for years has been trying to break into the music business. The waitress who taught herself to play the guitar and harmonica between shifts. The the blue collar worker who use’s her tips to take violin lessons, so she can add fiddling to her live show. She’s the girl who drives for hours, up and down the New Jersey Turnpike, to sing 5 minutes at an Open Mic. Chantele’s story is still being written and this is why her music is so authentic; because her life is the embodiment of the working class spirit. She’s a champion of hard work; of climbing the ladder and reaching for the torch of the ever-elusive American Dream. To be continued…
