SEO: Use Long tail Keywords
Frustrated social media

Using long tail keywords may be one of the best decisions you can make when it comes to SEO. The truth is that no matter how much effort you put into it, it’s really hard to rank well for certain keywords where there is lots of competition. Your competitors might be better prepared or might have money resources which makes it a lot easier to get this done. Even if you could rank well for those particular keywords, there is no guarantee that the investment would be worth it. It’s not that long tail keywords come with any guarantees, but at least the resources you have to use there are smaller, the competition is smaller, and if you know your clients well enough you can easily predict the kind of long tail keywords they’re likely to use.

If you can manage that, then there’s not much you won’t be able to achieve in terms of SEO. You may be tempted to fight for the shorter keywords, but investing in long tail ones may be a much worthier cause. Because the competition will surely be smaller, you have a greater chance at succeeding. Potentially, this should increase your conversion rate, as well. If people are looking specifically to buy your products or book your services, then odds are when they find your site they will convert, whereas when they use general keywords, they might be looking for something else, like tips on how to do it themselves, or maybe reviews. The point is that this should be a wise investment rather than constantly chasing those short keywords.
