2015 seems to be a great year, at least from this perspective. A new Star Wars sequel, a new Terminator movie-reboot-thingie, a new Jurassic Park (although we’re not sure if either really is good, but we’re hopeful), Avengers 2, a new Fast and Furious, and a lot more are coming right up on the big screen. “But what about SEO,” you ask? That’s a fair question. After all, that’s what you’re here for (presumably). SEO will not be that much different. There will be some subtle adjustments on Google’s part, which will mean having to tweak your strategy a bit, but nothing too frightening. After all, Google’s aim hasn’t changed – step one, like it’s always been is delivering the most awesome content to the people who are looking for it. Step two is (probably) world domination, but that’s a topic for another article.

 

SEO needs to be an integral part of your marketing strategy. It has to be something you have people working on all the time. We’re not talking about paying a company and telling them, “Hey, I want to become number one in Google,” or whatever notions you might have about how this all works. We’re talking about a team working on not only making sure that you rank well, but also that you get a return of your investment, that your customers perceive you well, and other things. In other words, you need a company that deals with digital marketing, not simply technical SEO. Winning the SEO game is getting even more difficult as Google are constantly raising the bar, which is why you need to make sure that the company you hire isn’t stuck in 2007 playing a losing hand.
