We are currently enduring a very tumultuous period in American History. The recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery has galvanized parts of the country in ways that echo an all too familiar racial discrimination that African Americans have been subjected to since landing on the shores of Jamestown in 1619.
All of us at NXTFactor are stunned and disturbed by the pattern of violence endured by African Americans as a result of police brutality. Both on an individual and company level, we condemn systemic racism and strive, day in and day out, to oppose those views and create an inclusive environment for all of our clients and staff, regardless of race.
America is supposed to be the land of opportunity. Millions, including many of our staff and clients, have come here in search of a better life. Notwithstanding, many Americans still endure discrimination in the country that prides itself on being “indivisible with liberty and justice for all.”
As a country, we need to do our part to ensure their voices are heard. As a company, we will continue to do the work necessary to promote peace, fairness and equality with our teammates and everyone we encounter.
